2025 Fall Training Camps
The Lake City Basketball Fall Training Camps are comprehensive 8-week programs designed to prepare athletes for their upcoming school basketball season through a dynamic mix of high-level skills training and competitive gameplay. This year’s training camps will feature three distinct sections:
Each section will run two evenings per week, with one night focused on skill development and the other dedicated to competitive play and controlled scrimmages. Athletes will develop individual offensive and defensive skills, sharpen decision-making, and learn key team play concepts in a structured, supportive environment. Although the girls’ program includes athletes from grades 6–12, players will be grouped by age and skill level during drills, competitions, and scrimmages to ensure a positive, challenging, and developmentally appropriate experience for all participants.
The boys’ sessions will be led by Spencer McKay, one of Canada’s most respected basketball skills coaches with decades of experience in elite player development. A former Canadian National Team and Euro-League player, Spencer brings a high-performance mindset rooted in his years competing and coaching at the highest levels. He also served five seasons as the lead assistant coach for the UBC Men’s Basketball Team, helping guide one of Canada’s top university programs.
Girls’ sessions will be led by Jason Patterson, a highly experienced coach with a strong background in player development. Jason has served as an assistant coach at the collegiate level in both the NAIA and NCAA, and has spent over a decade leading NBC Basketball Camps across North America and internationally. His dynamic coaching style and deep commitment to athlete growth make him an outstanding mentor for female athletes looking to elevate their game.
Over the course of 15 sessions, athletes will gain the tools, confidence, and game-readiness needed to make an impact on their school teams this season.
